Voices - Polyhonic - Mono - Legato


General:

Voices or Unison:

1.) Voices or Unison per Oscillator (OSC)

2.) Voices per Synth in total

 

Example 1:

1.) 1 Voice/Unison with 1 Oscillator (OSC) = 1

2.) 1 Voice in Synthesizer (or Mono/Legato) = 1 * 1

= Plays 1 voice 

 

Example 2:

1.) 2 Voice/Unison with 1 Oscillator (OSC) = 2

2.) 1 Voice in Synthesizer (or Mono/Legato) = 2 * 1

= Plays 2 voice 

 

Example 3:

1.) 3 Voice/Unison with 1 Oscillator (OSC) = 3

2.) 1 Voice in Synthesizer (or Mono/Legato) = 3 * 1

= Plays 3 voice 

 

Example 4:

1.) 3 Voice/Unison with 2 Oscillator (OSC) = 6

2.) 1 Voice in Synthesizer (or Mono/Legato) = 6 * 1

= Plays 6 voice 

 

Example 4:

1.) 3 Voice/Unison with 2 Oscillator (OSC) = 6

2.) 2 Voice in Synthesizer (or Poly) = 6 * 2

= Plays 12 voice 


Notes:

1.) Polyphonic:

-If Voices set to 8 alle 8 Notes will play parallel

-If Voices set to 3 Note 1+2+3 and then 2+3+4 and then 3+4+5 and then .... will play

-If Voices set to 1 Note = Mono (one Note at the same time 1 then 2 then 3 then ...)

 

2.) Mono:

2a.) Mono (Attack is always full when the note change) &

2b.) Legato (it is a Mono mode with smooth Attack):

-1 Note at the same time (1 then 2 then 3 then ...)

 

Duo Mode (e.g. u-He Hive):

-Lowest Note plays OSC 1

-Highest Note plays OSC 2

Duo Mode (e.g. Moog Sub 37):

-Lowest Note play always and the 2 will play additional. Then 1+3, then 1 + 4, then 1 + 5, then....

-Highest Note plays OSC 2
